Overview:

As the Sr. Account Manager for the Google Marketing Live MENA 2022 event, I had the privilege of orchestrating a remarkable experience for our esteemed client, Google, and collaborating closely with a third-party event agency. Google Marketing Live is an annual event that brings together marketing professionals and industry leaders to discover the latest trends, insights, and innovations in digital marketing. For the first time ever, the event was coming to the MENA region, and the stakes were high in impressing stakeholders and leaving a lasting impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitating Seamless Collaboration: A significant part of my role involved bridging the gap between Google and the third-party event agency. I ensured effective communication and smooth coordination between the two parties, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver an exceptional event.

2. Venue Selection and Management: Securing the right venues for the event was critical to its success. Leveraging my knowledge of the local landscape and understanding of the event's requirements, I helped the third-party agency identify and secure suitable venues that aligned perfectly with Google's vision.

3. Navigating Challenges: Organizing an event of this magnitude in a new region presented its share of challenges. I tackled these hurdles head-on, addressing issues proactively, and providing innovative solutions to create a seamless experience for all involved.

4. Creative Thinking and Event Materials: I played an instrumental role in supporting the third-party agency with creative thinking for event materials. Collaborating with the agency, we developed compelling and engaging materials that reflected Google's brand identity and showcased the event's uniqueness.

5. Delivering a Memorable Experience: With Google Marketing Live MENA 2023 being a landmark event in the region, the pressure was on to deliver a memorable experience for attendees and stakeholders alike. I strived to ensure that every aspect of the event, from logistics to content, exceeded expectations and left a lasting impression.

Outcomes:

The Google Marketing Live MENA 2022 event proved to be an overwhelming success, setting a new standard for future endeavors in the region. The seamless collaboration between Google and the third-party event agency was praised, and the carefully selected venues provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion.
